Raymond James is seeking Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Interns for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with the ECM Origination and Syndicate teams, playing a vital role in executing initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on equity offerings, preferred offerings, and equity-linked offerings. Interns will be entrusted with significant responsibilities as part of a product-focused team, gaining hands-on experience in the financial services industry. The internship spans 10 weeks and includes a comprehensive orientation, professional development training, networking events, and volunteer opportunities, all designed to equip interns with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the business and culture of Raymond James. Interns will be involved in various aspects of the transaction process, focusing on new business proposals and offering execution. They will prepare client presentations, support the execution of equity and preferred offerings, and maintain files and databases related to active and prospective deals. Additionally, interns will follow Raymond James equity research and keep the ECM and Investment Banking teams informed about the timing, pricing, and performance of offerings. This role requires the ability to work independently on complex assignments while managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. To qualify for this internship, candidates must be juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a business or finance field, with a graduation date of May 2026. Most positions are based in St. Petersburg, FL, with potential opportunities in other locations depending on company needs. Successful interns may have the chance to transition into full-time roles at Raymond James after graduation.
