The Demo Pilot-Flight Operations Pilot Development Program at Textron Aviation is designed for individuals who are passionate about aviation and eager to inspire others through their experiences and expert product knowledge. As a Demo Pilot, you will work collaboratively with a team to create exceptional aviation experiences for customers and the community. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to grow and develop both professional and technical skills as you advance your career within Textron Aviation. You will be responsible for embodying the company's values and contributing to the collective mission and vision of the organization. In this role, you will act as a flight and ground instructor, providing customer entitlement training specifically for the piston fleet. You will conduct flights and assist in flight shadowing during sales demonstration flights, while also providing marketing support. Operating both company and customer aircraft globally, you will ensure compliance with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations. A thorough knowledge of various aircraft models, systems, avionics, and equipment is essential, as you will be expected to stay updated on product changes and enhancements. Training is a critical component of this position, and you will participate in initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, and international procedures training, among others. Additionally, you will perform various office tasks related to flight operations, including preparing expense reports and flight logs, planning international flights, and updating aircraft flight manuals and approach plates. Safety will always be your prime consideration in all operations, and you will communicate effectively with department personnel to ensure awareness of noteworthy issues.
