About The Position
The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a Graduate-level Composites Intern to work in the Materials Science Department within the Space Materials Laboratory. This position is designed for a well-qualified individual with a strong foundation in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, with an emphasis on composite materials for space applications. The intern will gain hands-on lab experience with material processing, characterization, and other valuable training related to composite materials. The internship will involve investigating structure-property relationships of high-performance composite materials and the effects of processing conditions on their thermal and mechanical properties.
