About The Position

The 2025 Commercial Real Estate Banking Program at J.P. Morgan is designed for recent graduates interested in building a career in real estate banking. This 2.5-year program offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience in commercial real estate and banking, focusing on developing customized financial solutions for clients across various real estate asset types. Participants will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to multiple facets of the business, including Sales/Originations, Credit/Risk, Treasury Services, and Portfolio Management.

Requirements

• Coursework or previous internship in real estate, finance, accounting or economics a plus
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Graduating between June 2024 - June 2025
• Enrolled in good standing at an accredited university in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling & risk grading to support transactions
• Collateral & market analysis
• Preparation of marketing materials for use in client meetings
• Sponsorship & guarantor analysis
• Assisting in the completion of credit approval memos and annual reviews
• Summarize key deal metrics and facts for new loan letters of intent
• Support sales teams with ad-hoc requests, property inspections and market research
• Portfolio monitoring and management
• Learn about treasury services tailored to commercial real estate and end to end sales process using a variety of internal sales tools
• Developing an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings
