About The Position
The 2025 Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Real Estate Banking Program at J.P. Morgan offers a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals to kickstart their careers in the dynamic field of commercial real estate. This program is designed to provide participants with comprehensive training and hands-on experience, working alongside some of the most recognized experts in the industry. As part of the CRE group, participants will leverage the firm's extensive resources to develop tailored financial solutions that meet the diverse needs of clients across various real estate asset types, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial properties. The program spans 2.5 years and is structured to equip analysts with a robust foundation in both Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Banking. Participants will engage in targeted training that covers essential areas such as Sales/Originations, Credit/Risk, Treasury Services, and Portfolio Management. The initial phase of the program includes an intensive training curriculum that encompasses critical topics such as accounting, underwriting, financial statement analysis, pro-forma modeling, risk grading, cash flow analysis, and credit structuring. This multifaceted approach combines lectures, team exercises, exams, and case studies to ensure a well-rounded educational experience. Upon completion of the training, analysts will be stationed in the New York City office, where they will collaborate with the Real Estate Banking Team to support clients and gain practical exposure to various aspects of the business. This includes financial modeling, market analysis, preparation of marketing materials, and assisting in credit approval processes. The program culminates in the potential promotion to Associate, contingent upon successful performance throughout the duration of the program.
