As a Summer Associate in the Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP), you will be part of a highly selective program designed to cultivate future leaders through intensive on-the-job training and direct interaction with our business leaders. This 12-week internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in strategic organizational initiatives and work on impactful assignments that drive our business forward. You will utilize your business and management knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and relationship management skills to contribute to high-impact projects that are essential for building a sustainable pipeline of high-potential commercial talent at Takeda. During your internship, you will gain comprehensive exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in marketing and sales. You will participate in various product management activities, business unit meetings, and planning sessions, acting in the capacity of a product manager. Each Summer Associate will be assigned a specific project to complete by the end of the internship, alongside routine activities aimed at providing a complete product management experience. The projects assigned are designed to be challenging and critical to our ongoing success, ensuring that you gain valuable insights into Takeda's diverse business functions. The internship also includes mentorship from a Senior Commercial Leader, participation in workshops, and opportunities to engage with executive leadership through speaker series events. You will have the chance to network with peers and build professional relationships, all while working on business-critical projects that directly impact the patients we serve. Successful completion of the internship may lead to a conversion opportunity to join the full-time CLDP upon graduation.
