About The Position

The FLU Risk Management Associate position at Bank of China is designed for recent graduates looking to start their careers in risk management within the banking sector. This role involves performing quality assurance (QA) testing on compliance and credit business functions, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the bank's operations. The associate will assist in generating QA reports and provide administrative support to the Financial Institutions Department. This includes preparing reports, handling IT-related requests, maintaining an inventory of departmental supplies, and coordinating various departmental activities. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management and compliance within a global banking environment. As part of the responsibilities, the associate will conduct QA sample testing on various processes such as KYC Refresh Review, New Client Onboarding, Bridger Screening, and Credit Recommendation Reports. This testing is performed on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Additionally, the associate will assist in completing the department's risk assessments, conducting risk control testing, and identifying and monitoring risks related to the department. Reporting any inconsistencies or concerns during risk monitoring to the supervisor is also a key aspect of the role. In terms of business management, the associate will coordinate administrative activities for the department, manage IT and fixed-asset requests, and assist in HR-related coordination. This includes monitoring document retention and adherence to the Clean Desk policy. The associate will also manage purchase orders and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor. Participation in special projects and other duties as assigned will further enhance the associate's experience and exposure to the banking industry.
