About The Position
The 2025 BNY Summer Internship Program is designed for high-potential students who are eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry while contributing to the People Team at BNY. This 10-week internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a global financial services organization that has been a leader in innovation and client service since 1784. Interns will engage in meaningful projects that not only challenge their skills but also foster their professional development through practical work experiences, mentorship, and training. From the outset, interns will participate in an enterprise-led orientation program, which includes an executive speaker series and a tailored virtual training curriculum. This program is structured to provide interns with the necessary tools and knowledge to thrive in a corporate environment. Throughout the internship, participants will be assigned challenging work assignments that promote learning and skill development, while also receiving career development and networking support from corporate leaders, internship managers, and mentors. Interns will have the chance to explore various areas within the People Team, including Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning and Leadership, Employee Relations, Diversity, Belonging and Inclusion, Compensation, or Benefits & Wellbeing, depending on their interests and the business needs. The People Team is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience through strategic investments in talent and continuous process improvements, ensuring a high-quality experience for all stakeholders.
