Northrop Grumman is seeking Process Engineers. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Rocket Center, WV.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Design Engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
  • Coordinates with production on day-to-day activities.
  • Assists in the resolution of processing issues.
  • Evaluates discrepant hardware.
  • Research and evaluate commercially available tools and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoots existing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Incorporates engineering changes on work in process.

Requirements

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution by June 2025.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Nice-to-haves

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
  • Experience or coursework with electrical or electro mechanical assembly.
  • Experience or coursework in production environment.
  • Experience or coursework in Surface Mount Technology Circuit Card Assembly.
  • Experience or coursework using SPC and Six Sigma techniques.
