About The Position
The Secondary Education Classroom Teacher is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible individuals. The teacher will meet and instruct assigned classes, plan a program of study tailored to the individual needs of students, and create a conducive learning environment. The role requires preparation for classes, maintaining classroom behavior standards, guiding the learning process, and assessing student accomplishments. The teacher will also confer with district specialists regarding learning disabilities, maintain accurate records, and assist in implementing school policies.
