About The Position

The Media Arts, Design, and Technology Department in the College of Communication and Education is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Classes of lecture include general Media Production and Graphic Design.

Requirements

• Minimum education requirement is a Master's Degree, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 5-years of industry experience.
• For the Introduction to Digital Audio in Media course, proficiency using ProTools audio software is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience collaborating on sustainable design initiatives and competency with the Adobe Creative Suite for the Sustainable Design course.
• Experience integrating foley audio techniques into film and video productions for the Introduction to Digital Audio in Media course.
• Bilingual candidates will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
