About The Position

California State University (CSU), Chico is a comprehensive and residential public university, holding Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) designation. The Communication Sciences and Disorders Program in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree and teaching, cultural, and sign language experience for CMSD 156.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching or clinical experience in the subject area of interest.
  • Currency in the field with an active California state license and ASHA certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Preference for Bilingual candidates and candidates with experience working with diverse populations.
