About The Position
The Northland Center for Advanced Professional Studies (Northland CAPS) is a cooperative, profession-based learning program offered by nine public school districts in Clay and Platte Counties of Missouri. These districts represent over 60,000 students and provide a unique opportunity for junior and senior high school students to develop professional skills through immersive, project-based learning opportunities in partnership with local businesses. The vision of Northland CAPS is to provide students with a professional, innovative, and entrepreneurial education through hands-on, real-world experiences. The program has grown significantly since its launch in 2013 and is seen as an economic driver for local businesses.
