About The Position

The 2025/26 High School Special Education Teacher for Life Skills (ICAP) position at Leander High School is designed for educators who are passionate about working with students who have intensive communication and behavioral needs. This role involves teaching in a highly structured environment with a low staff-to-student ratio, utilizing a variety of research-based methodologies to meet the individual needs of students. The focus will be on academics and developmentally appropriate functional skills, with an emphasis on communication and positive behavior through intensive, hands-on learning.

Requirements
