About The Position

The Special Education Teacher position at Rouse High School is focused on providing education to students with intensive communication and behavioral needs. The Individual Community Academic Program-Communication (ICAP-C) offers a highly structured environment with a low staff-to-student ratio, utilizing various research-based methodologies to cater to the individual needs of students. Requirements

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Ability to work with students with intensive communication and behavioral needs.
  • Experience in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with low incidence disabilities.
  • Familiarity with the Individual Community Academic Program-Communication (ICAP-C).
