The Director of Math and Science will be responsible for providing leadership, support and instructional assistance to building administrators, staff and teachers under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services. Duties include evaluating and implementing the alignment of instructional materials to standards, ensuring compliance, assisting in grant development, supervising instructional specialists and office professionals, and developing and overseeing programs at all district schools. The District represents a diverse community with a population of more than 60% students with diverse backgrounds. We seek an individual who has successful experience in working with culturally diverse families and communities. The selected candidate must demonstrate a commitment to strengthening community engagement and communication with the District's diverse populations.
