The Tracy Unified School District is seeking applications for substitute positions. Applicants must be aware that CalPERS retirees cannot be part of the on-call substitute pool due to compliance regulations. Violations of this policy may result in the repayment of retirement benefits to PERS. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received, and submission does not guarantee placement on the substitute list or participation in the hiring process. All communication regarding applicant status will be conducted via email, and applicants should expect flexible processing times based on the district's needs. Verification of 48 semester units or higher is required, which can be demonstrated through a copy of a degree or transcripts submitted with the application. Alternatively, passing the Para exam administered by TUSD is acceptable. Selected applicants will also need to provide TB clearance.
