The Social Worker is a year-round, certified position that is responsible for working closely with families, school counselors, teachers, students and school leader(s) to enhance the school’s ability to meet its academic mission, especially where home, school, and community collaboration is key to achieving that mission. The work of the licensed Social Worker is to identify and support students and their families in eliminating barriers that impact learning. Success in this role is measured by improving student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes and acting as a liaison with community agencies to ensure services. This role reports directly to the Assistant Principal of Operations and will work regionally with the Manager of Student Support Services. The hours mirror the staff hours of the school the role is based.
