About The Position

This opening is not for a specific assignment. The district posts annually in an effort to be prepared when a paraprofessional opening becomes available throughout the school year.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3 to 21 years old with diverse learning, communication, and behavioral needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
• Must meet criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting students in an ABA or similar structured learning environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students' physical needs, personal care, and daily living activities as needed.
• Implement strategies to support positive student behavior and foster engagement.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, including classroom teachers, Child Study Team, BCBA, and related service providers.

Benefits

• Part Time position (5 days a week, 5.75 hours per day - total of 28.75 hours per week)
• General or Special Education Paraprofessional - $21,215.00 per year
• ABA Non-Certified Paraprofessional - $24,455.00 per year
• ABA Certified Paraprofessional - $28,257.00 per year
• Braillist or Job Coach - $29,756.00 per year
