About The Position

Under the direction of the school principal, the PE/Health teacher is responsible for the education of assigned students and will create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the PE/Health teacher must work closely with other staff, the administration, and other programs of Dodge City Public Schools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited college/university.
• Current Kansas Teaching Certificate or license.
• Kansas Certification of Health Certificate on file in the Central Office after employment offer is made.
• Desire to continue career improvement.
• Highly Qualified under No Child Left Behind preferred.

Responsibilities
