About The Position

Elevate K-12 is hiring teachers certified in the U.S. for K-12 American Sign Language for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers will be part of a network that allows them to teach remotely and part-time, with flexible scheduling. Elevate K-12 teachers are Independent Contractors (1099) and are paid per hourly session taught, starting at $48 per session. The role involves teaching live classes to students in public school classrooms across the country, supported by a Classroom Coach for classroom management. Elevate K-12 aims to provide high-quality, live teaching to every learner in the U.S. and offers a supportive environment for teachers.

Requirements

• Active, verifiable teaching certification in the United States for American Sign Language.
• Experience teaching students in grades K-12.
• Must reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Availability for at least three consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional teaching environment.
