Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure for Intervention Specialist (mild/moderate or moderate/intense).
• Knowledge of and experience with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to: learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in self-contained, inclusive, and/or resource settings.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and equity.
