About The Position

Elevate K-12 is hiring teachers certified in the US for Grade Levels 9-12 Engineering for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking teachers who are certified to teach in the US and willing to seek reciprocity in other states. A dedicated support team will assist you in the process and Elevate K-12 will reimburse you for any fees. Elevate K-12 teachers are Independent Contractors (1099) - no benefits provided, or taxes withheld. They are paid per hourly session taught, starting at $36 per session, with part-time hours generally ranging from 10-20 teaching hours per week. This position is fully remote, allowing teachers to choose their own schedule and build long-term relationships with their students.

Requirements

• Active, verifiable teaching certification in the US.
• Willingness to seek reciprocity in other states.
• Teaching certificate for or with an endorsement in Engineering or a related certificate if holding an Engineering Degree.
• Experience teaching students in grades 9-12.
• Must reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Availability for at least three consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week during normal school hours.
• A laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Teach Grade Levels 9-12 Engineering remotely to students in public school classrooms.

• Meet deadlines set by Elevate and the school calendar.
• Utilize technology effectively in a remote teaching setting.
