About The Position

Elevate K-12 is hiring teachers certified in the U.S. for Grades 6-12 Social Studies Special Education for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking teachers who have a professional level Social Studies teacher certificate, a professional level Special Education teacher certificate, and are willing to go through reciprocity to get certified in additional state(s). A dedicated support team will assist you in the process and Elevate K-12 will reimburse you for any fees. Elevate K-12 teachers are Independent Contractors (1099) - no benefits provided, or taxes withheld. Elevate K-12 teachers are paid per hourly session taught, starting at $42 per hourly session, which includes prep/admin time. Part-time hours generally range from 10-20 teaching hours per week, allowing teachers to choose their own schedule and build long-term relationships with students. The position is fully remote, enabling teachers to teach from home.

Requirements

• Active, verifiable professional level teaching certification in Social Studies and Special Education.
• Experience teaching students in grades 6-12.
• Must reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year.
• Availability for at least five consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week during normal school hours.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional teaching environment.
