About The Position
Novato Unified School District is excited to find an Education Specialist for an Elementary opening. The ideal applicant would come to us with a preliminary or clear California Credential in Mild to Moderate Support Needs or equivalent or is an aspiring educator in the process of obtaining appropriate credentialing to qualify for an emergency permit. This position does require an authorization to teach English Learners. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails.
