The Lead Teacher’s role holds the primary responsibility for developing and implementing the curriculum, school culture, and the success of the school’s students. This position is for grades 9th - 12th and involves adapting and executing a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum while assessing students’ progress. The Lead Teacher will develop academically rigorous lessons, create unit plans, rubrics, and assessments, and use data to inform instructional decisions. Daily feedback on mastery performance in character and academics will be provided to students, along with planning for individual learning needs. The role requires a strong commitment to pedagogy and collaboration with the school team to develop a school-wide culture that best fits the needs of students, teachers, and families.
