The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Semiconductor Test Research Associate to join the Microelectronics Technology Department (MTD) within the Aerospace Physical Sciences Laboratories (PSL). This full-time position is based in El Segundo, CA, and requires 100% onsite work. The MTD is dedicated to testing, accelerating, and analyzing failures in electronics used for space systems. The successful candidate will support principal investigators and staff scientists in conducting electrical measurements of CMOS, III-V, and novel material technologies. This role involves using probe stations to perform measurements on bare die and building test setups to evaluate packaged components. In this position, you will be responsible for performing electrical measurements on bare die using automated and manual probe stations, as well as on packaged parts using test fixtures. You will assemble test setups based on requirements provided by the principal investigator and program laboratory instruments using LabView or Python. Additionally, you will collect and analyze measurement data, prepare reports and presentations to present measurement results, and maintain equipment capability by ensuring it is calibrated and serviced when needed. The role requires the ability to quickly troubleshoot problems and work well in a team environment, along with strong organizational skills.
