The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is the second largest transit system in the United States, and we are excited to offer a college internship program that provides students with invaluable work experience, professional development, and mentorship opportunities. Our internships are designed to give students exposure to the workplace and allow them to work alongside subject matter experts who will guide them in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to thrive in today's technically demanding careers. Interns at CTA will have the opportunity to work in various departments across the authority, engaging in project-based work that aligns with the needs of the organization during each term. Internships are available for both summer and year-long terms, with part-time positions requiring 15 hours of work per week during the academic year and full-time positions requiring 40 hours per week during the summer months. In this specific role within the Human Resources department's Talent Acquisition unit, interns will be tasked with providing innovative ideas for revamping the new employee onboarding (NEO) process for the CTA. Responsibilities will include assisting with the creation of onboarding videos and auditing processes within the NEO for the Talent Acquisition department. The primary work location for this internship will be at the CTA Headquarters located at 567 W. Lake Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
