About The Position
The Student Teacher/Observer position is designed for individuals currently enrolled in a teacher degree program at a four-year college or university or those seeking certification through an Alternative Certification Program. The placement process is coordinated by the Human Resources Department of HEB ISD, which will contact approved students and their respective universities or ACPs after completing a criminal history check. The email will provide details about the campus placement, mentor teacher(s), and important dates. Students are encouraged to establish effective communication with their cooperating teachers and are responsible for attending a mandatory Student Teacher Orientation and completing required compliance training.
