About The Position

Chevron is seeking Production and Reservoir Engineer Interns for the 2024-2025 recruiting season. This internship offers students the opportunity to work within multi-disciplinary teams, focusing on production and reservoir engineering assignments that contribute value to Chevron. Interns will develop technical skills and gain experience in asset development planning, production operations, and capital project development, with a particular emphasis on low-carbon technologies such as Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS).

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong academic performance in core programs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive on a routine basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in research, technology development, or consulting.
• Previous internship experience in an integrated oil or international service company.
• Participation in an industry or energy company university research project.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production and reservoir engineering projects that contribute value to Chevron.
• Develop technical skills in asset development planning and production operations.
• Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams including engineers and data scientists.
• Engage in projects related to Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), geothermal, and hydrogen.
