About The Position
The Nutrition Manager is responsible for supervising the storage, preparation, and service of wholesome, nutritious foods within the guidelines established by USDA, Health Department, and Alief ISD. This role involves managing daily operations of assigned facilities, ensuring that meals are prepared per schedule and food is of the highest quality, and maintaining standards for sound financial management. The Nutrition Manager will also provide catering for special functions, develop work schedules, and work cooperatively with campus principals to accommodate schedule changes and resolve personnel issues.
