About The Position
The Family Worker is assigned by the School Psychologist to handle outreach and support services associated with the special education evaluation process in one or more schools. The School Psychologist will direct the Family Worker in his/her duties. Responsibilities include making home contacts or visits, retaining records related to parent activity, and assuming administrative responsibilities designated by the principal, such as planning the nature of, dates, and arrangements for parents' meetings and home visitation schedules.
