About The Position
The position involves performing preventive maintenance on finishing equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment that is down, and making various mechanical repairs. The role may also require work on the building, grounds, or at other locations within the plant. Employees must perform lockout procedures as required for service and complete work orders with minimal supervision. Accurate reporting of work completed is essential, and communication with the Lead or Supervisor regarding issues and concerns is necessary. Maintaining a clean and safe working area is a priority, and safety must always come first. Employees must be willing to work overtime as needed to ensure the maintenance and uptime of the finishing lines, and support continuous improvement efforts by the American Woodmark team.
