The Maintenance Technician (Automation Technician) position is intended to cross train in all areas of the plant. The role involves performing scale checks to ensure plant pay scales are within weight calibration specifications, conducting preventative maintenance on scales, trolley readers, printers, and alarms to ensure they are in working order and problems are caught before they cause downtime. Additionally, the technician will assist and train in the startup of the facility's automated and robotic equipment, along with other duties as assigned.
