Responsible for supervision of personnel and operations including:
safety of personnel
quality of product
production rates
enforcement of company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Ability and desire to improve efficiency and increase capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor.
• Self-motivated with positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills
• 3+ years of production supervisory experience desired.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Implement the production plan to assure on time delivery and highest quality standards.
• Manage reliable and predictable operations.
• Reduce process variability and improve consistency throughout the department.
• Motivate the crew to effectively accomplish the tasks at hand while monitoring employee performance and task efficiency.
• Identify and implement improvements to the manufacturing process.
• Ensure SDI/OSHA safety requirements are met and exceeded.
• Assure the schedule is designed to gain maximum utilization of manpower, equipment, and material on all shifts.
• Effectively practice Performance Based Management by coaching and developing employees.
• Ability to lead staff to meet production demands
