Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure as an optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills including communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations with them.
• Custom fit glasses and accurately place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear, ensuring it meets standards and customer needs.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Utilize technology effectively under time pressure and high customer volume.
• Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
• Proactively explore root causes of issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive, and organized.
