About The Position

This position is centered around creating exceptional value in the lives of customers by providing legendary customer service and perfectly crafted high-quality eyewear that exceeds customer expectations. The Licensed Optician is responsible for welcoming all customers, setting expectations, and ensuring that their eyewear needs are met with precision and care. In this role, the Licensed Optician will custom fit glasses and accurately place prescriptions in lenses. They will act as a leader in optical acumen, taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear with meticulous attention to detail, and ensuring that the finished eyewear meets both standards and customer needs. The optician will assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions, utilizing technology effectively even under time pressure and high customer volume. A proactive approach is essential, as the optician will explore the root causes of issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. The Licensed Optician will also strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies, take pride in the store's appearance, and help maintain a clean, attractive, and organized environment. They will inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. This role requires a resourceful, self-motivated individual with a desire for continual learning and improvement, adhering to company policies and procedures, including those related to discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
