About The Position

Miller Canfield is now accepting applications for 2026 2L summer associate positions in our Detroit office. Our summer associate program, held over ten weeks from mid-May to late-July, provides students the opportunity to gain valuable, substantive experience in a variety of practice areas. The program provides excellent legal, social, and professional development opportunities to students as they get to know Miller Canfield. We encourage interested students to apply directly regardless of whether we will be present at an on-campus or other school-sponsored interview programs.

Requirements

• Applicants must be rising 2Ls in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing skills.
