About The Position

We are seeking a skilled welder specializing in MIG or TIG welding for either 1st or 2nd shift in Salem, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding aluminum or steel, engaging in production and fab shop welding, and interpreting blueprints. The hourly wage ranges from $20-$24.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in MIG or TIG welding, preferably with aluminum.
• Proficiency in blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with structural steel or aluminum.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and use calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Capability to set up and operate welding machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG or TIG welding on aluminum or steel.
• Engage in production welding and fab shop welding.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Set up welding machines based on job and welding procedure specifications.
• Fit products to blueprint specifications.
