The individual will be responsible for inspecting road safety components, ensuring all welds are present and correct per the drawing, and reworking any weldments that do not meet requirements. Feedback to other welders on acceptable weld quality is also a key responsibility, along with producing assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards. The position requires reading check sheets and prints to determine specifications and accurately completing all required functions to ensure quality products are produced and shipped to customers. A thorough understanding of welding and cutting processes, robotic welding, and the application of assembly techniques is essential. The role also includes performing maintenance and 5S housekeeping, using hand tools for inspection, and contributing to a team environment while complying with all company policies and procedures.
