About The Position
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Skokie, IL. You will be responsible for ensuring product conformity to blueprint and inspecting hardware using various inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, comparator, height stand, indicator, profilometer, hardness tester, etc. You will review work orders for completion of operations and required documentation, as well as review the ERP (JD Edwards) system for required retained information. Additionally, you will review raw material certificates and ensure conformity to industry or internal standards, provide manufacturing technical support as GD&T subject matter expert, and support the Quality Engineers to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system. You will also interface with internal departments to engage in activities that ensure continuous control over material, services, and products, along with other duties as assigned.
