Responsibilities

• Ensure raw material availability for daily production according to the production schedule.
• Assign, train, and direct wage employees in correct production and safety procedures.
• Complete finished products in the quantity and quality as prescribed in established standards and schedules.
• Operate in accordance with the provisions of the plant employment handbook and company policy.
• Review and evaluate equipment and work areas to provide an efficient and clean working environment.
• Approve wage time records and provide daily production records.
• Oversee daily operation, review work progress, implement approved equipment process, material and tooling, and standards changes.
• Take immediate action to prevent production loss, waste, spoilage, equipment and tooling damage, or safety hazards as necessary.
• Provide technical assistance and general counsel to assigned personnel.
• Assist Plant Manager in developing and recommending means of improving quantity and quality of operations.
• Promote the company's safety efforts and maintain a safe working environment.
• Interface with other departments such as Quality, Engineering, and Sales to meet company objectives.
• Perform other tasks as required.
