Litehouse Foods is seeking a strategic full-time Mixer I to join our team. As a Mixer, you will play a crucial role in the performance of all mix systems, including spice, preparation, and testing. This position is essential to our operations, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and self-motivated. You will be responsible for loading ingredients into blenders and utilizing pumping and metering systems to produce complex, high-value recipes. Additionally, you will be required to operate advanced batch automation computer systems as needed, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately. In this role, you will also be responsible for changing over and washing out machinery between jobs, adhering to strict allergen guidelines and detailed wash requirements. Maintaining a clean work area is vital, and you will participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds. You will utilize a data collection system to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, ensuring that the oldest ingredients are used first (FIFO) through the use of a scanner. Requisitioning supplies and maintaining production records will also be part of your responsibilities, along with ensuring that all entries into factory software are correct. As a Mixer, you will have the responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report any food safety and quality concerns to your supervisor. This position may require you to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary, so flexibility is essential.
