About The Position

This position is responsible for the Maintenance of Menard-owned equipment and vehicles. This is light duty, medium duty, and heavy-duty truck and forklift repairs. The hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Why Menards? Pay based on experience: $23.55/hr - $35.30/hr Health and Dental Insurance 401(k) Employee Discount Paid time off

Requirements

• Experience in diagnostic engine repair
• Experience in truck drivetrain repair
• Must have some direct mechanical experience or an accredited Technician Degree
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask
• Must have parts knowledge
• Must be able to take direction from management and the ability to work independently
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs to trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform accurate and timely repairs.
• Look for additional repairs beyond what’s listed.
• Perform preventative Maintenance checks on equipment.
