The Janitor position at PHD Services is a part-time role focused on providing cleaning services according to client specifications. The job involves various cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic and orderly environment, primarily during weekends.
Empty waste receptacles and damp wipe and replace liners as required.
Vacuum all carpeting and dust mop tile floors, ensuring to clean under furniture and in corners.
Thoroughly dust all horizontal surfaces including files, window sills, chairs, tables, and ledges.
Remove fingerprints and soil from partitions and doors, and clean drinking fountains.
Spot clean walls and carpets as needed, and stock restroom supplies.
Clean and polish mirrors, empty and sanitize napkin disposal units, and disinfect toilets and urinals.
Polish brightwork and keep it free of lime, and scour and disinfect all basins.
Dust partition tops, ledges, louvers in doors, exhaust grills, and tops of mirrors.
Wet wipe and clean towel cabinet covers, and remove fingerprints from stall doors and walls.
Damp mop restroom floors using disinfectant and wash entrance doors when required.
Clean and fill soap dispensers nightly, vacuum, and clean under mats.
Dust ledges and moldings, and clean and disinfect the kitchen sink and countertops.
Custodial experience preferred.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks as specified by the site supervisor.
Entry-level position, suitable for individuals with basic cleaning skills.
