About The Position

The Heavy Duty Assembly position at Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, involves assembling automotive lifts and their components under the guidance of the Production Supervisor. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in the assembly process, with a starting pay of $17.00 and higher, along with an incentive bonus after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Understanding and ability to use assembly tools
• Capable of reading a tape measure
• Understanding of blueprint reading
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels of organization
• Strong understanding of process interaction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Understanding of general manufacturing
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 45 pounds
• Must align with the Snap-on Mission Statement

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive lifts and components/accessories
• Place components on paint line
• Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with emphasis on safety
• Suggest and assist in process improvements which assures quality, efficiency, and safety is built into the process
• Assist in fabrication processes as needed
