About The Position

The General Production Manager at Tyson Foods is responsible for overseeing and training supervisors in various aspects of production operations. This includes managing production paperwork, yields, time and attendance, safety, and team member morale. The role is accountable for performance metrics, safety standards, quality control, and addressing issues related to turnover and absenteeism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with processing floor operations is a plus.
  • HACCP certification is a plus; understanding of basic HACCP principles.
  • Knowledge of fresh meats processing is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Team leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in a food processing environment.
  • Advanced computer skills.
