We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in New Oxford, PA. As a Food Packaging General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your responsibilities include preparing work areas, packing products, and ensuring that our products meet quality standards. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in food production or similar environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma not required.
• Ability to complete simple paperwork and communicate issues.
• English language skills required.
• Ability to read scale numbers accurately.
• Common sense to carry out written and oral instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and push up to 300 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a cold, wet environment.
• Must complete GMP, HACCP, Machine Operation, and Allergy training.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas in the morning and between product batches.
• Set scales to the proper weight, including tare allowance.
• Prepare packaging materials and containers.
• Use scoops to transfer products from bins to scales and then into containers.
• Label and lid containers accurately, following process documents.
• Send containers through a metal detector and stack them on skids.
• Clean up the work area at the end of the day.
• Perform other duties as directed by your Lead/Supervisor.
