See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As part of the talented General Assembly Team, you will be a front-line leader who as a part of the trainer team sets up jobs, trains operators, makes improvements to the department, and is a liaison to support teams. Essential Functions: · Responsibilities as defined for General Assembly Operator · Train newly hired, temporary, and cross-training employees, in proper manufacturing techniques as detailed in DWIs. · Understand and train employees of floor layout (5S). · Be knowledgeable, practice and reinforce safety rules and guidelines. · Be capable of properly recording labor and explaining how to understand production rates. · Work with Operators and Production Pickers to ensure cells are fully stocked with parts to complete production orders · Be able to perform set up functions in all product families, including 1st piece where required · Assist Operators who are having problems and call in outside help where needed · Have an understanding of ISO requirements and our Quality Management System · Have an understanding and communicate company metrics. Meet qualifications for General Assembly Operator
Be knowledgeable and proficient in all product families within respective department.
Dependable – have a good attendance record
Good interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and lead others

Responsibilities
