About The Position

Hubbell Armorcast Products is seeking a Forklift Driver for the 1st shift in Chatsworth, CA. The role involves operating forklifts safely to move materials throughout the facility, ensuring efficient production processes. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $21.75 and includes a retention sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment. Benefits commence on the first of the month following the hire date.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• OSHA Forklift safety training/certification must be current.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Supply operators with work and materials and remove completed parts as needed.
• Shrink wrap pallets for shipping and record weights of products and loads.
• Analyze production schedules to determine movement, deliveries, and material requirements.
• Perform quality assurance duties, including reporting product damage and shortages.
• Utilize radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts before operation.
• Organize and secure materials safely, including hazardous materials as directed.
• Follow company and OSHA safety standards and report any unsafe conditions.
